Egyptian Map Gallery
This site is where the original maps of Egypt of various categories, classifications, and backgrounds can be found.
The site is in the early stages of inception, so bear with us until we are able to add more thematic and topographical maps and maps of historical value. You are welcome to use, share, and promote.
The aim is to bring back the original map of Egypt with the following bearings to the forefront and to spotlight them to the best of our ability. Egypt has coastlines on the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea. It borders Libya to the west, the Gaza Strip to the northeast, Israel to the east and Sudan to the south.
Egypt’s borders are as follows: an almost-straight vertical line from the Mediterranean Sea heading south; it intersects a perfectly horizontal line, creating a 90-degree angle. This horizontal line reaches the Red Sea at the far east end. These are Egypt’s borders as far as the western and southern borders are concerned.
Again, the maps viewed on this site are the true and accurate maps of Egypt. We will continue to add more maps as we get them. In the meantime, please share so as to have more people become aware of these maps.
